Abrasive is a material, often a mineral, that is used to shape or finish a workpiece through rubbing, which leads to part of the workpiece being worn away by friction. While finishing a material often means polishing it to gain a smooth, reflective surface, the process can also involve roughening as in satin, matte or beaded finishes. In short, the ceramics which are used to cut, grind and polish other softer materials are known as abrasives.

The cut is made by placing the toothed edge against the material and moving it forcefully forth and less vigorously back or continuously forward. This force may be applied by hand, or powered by steam, water, electricity or other power source. An abrasive saw has a powered circular blade designed to cut through metal or ceramic.

Manage Stock Demand and Supply balancing for the Business and mke accurate & reliable Goods Movement Plan. Analyse customers’ requirements and trends and translate plan into short and long term supply plans
Accountable for smooth new product introduction – Phase In, Phase Out and Transfer, to ensure obsolescence is minimum.
Participate in Project team, work closely with Marketing and Business S&OP to realize new product ramp up & launch on time
Accountable for an optimal level of finished goods. Diligently manage Slow moving and obsolete inventories.
Prepare weekly supply plan (Long Term and Short Term) for Batam Factory.
Maintain Good KPIs, good customer service level and supply availability to market and do weekly PDCA
Masterdata update timeliness/accuracy
Manage and develop customer relations, managing inventory movements in a more cost effective planning, production and delivery flexibility.
Conduct regular S&OP review with key customers and derive improvement actions, resolve complaints
