Abrasive is a material, often a mineral, that is used to shape or finish a workpiece through rubbing, which leads to part of the workpiece being worn away by friction. While finishing a material often means polishing it to gain a smooth, reflective surface, the process can also involve roughening as in satin, matte or beaded finishes. In short, the ceramics which are used to cut, grind and polish other softer materials are known as abrasives.
Cutting tool or cutter is used to cut, shape, and remove material from a workpiece by means of machining tools as well as shear deformation. There are several different types of single edge cutting tools that are made from a variety of hardened metal alloys that are vary in size as well as alloy composition depending on the size and the type of material being turned. These cutting tools are held stationary by what is known as a tool post which is what manipulates the tools to cut the material into the desired shape.

Machining is a process in which a material (often metal) is cut to a desired final shape and size by a controlled material-removal process. The processes that have this common theme are collectively called subtractive manufacturing, which utilizes machine tools, in contrast to additive manufacturing (3D printing), which uses controlled addition of material.
Material testing is an interdisciplinary field of materials science that covers the discovery of new materials and characteristic, classify particularly solids. The field is also commonly termed materials science and engineering emphasizing engineering aspects of building useful items, and materials physics, which emphasizes the use of physics to describe material properties.
Metrology is defined by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) as "the science of measurement, embracing both experimental and theoretical determinations at any level of uncertainty in any field of science and technology". It establishes a common understanding of units, crucial to human activity. Sawing are commonly used for cutting hard materials. They are used extensively in forestry, construction, demolition, medicine, and hunting. saw is a tool consisting of a tough blade, wire, or chain with a hard toothed edge. It is used to cut through material, very often wood, though sometimes metal or stone. The cut is made by placing the toothed edge against the material and moving it forcefully forth and less vigorously back or continuously forward. This force may be applied by hand, or powered by steam, water, electricity or other power source. An abrasive saw has a powered circular blade designed to cut through metal or ceramic.

These terms and conditions shall govern the use of website Metalextra.com which is owned, managed and operated by PT Indonesia Surya Sejahtera. The Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted in its true form which is in English. If in doubt or in any scenario, customers, users, partners, and the general public should wish to interpret this T&C into other languages, the English interpretation shall prevail. By using this Site, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
SALES & PURCHASE
PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera sells its complete products offering type to business customers as well as to individual customers.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Everyone may access, view, and perform transactions on the Site. However, Customers will be required to register before ordering.
A personal account will be created automatically the first time Customers place an order. Customers shall use the same e-mail address and password the next time they want to order and may add or alter the shipping address and payment information at any time.
Customers are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their User ID and password. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera will not be responsible for any breach of security caused by the failure to maintain the confidentiality of User ID and password.
Customers shall be responsible for all transactions and activities that occur as a result of the disclosure of User ID and password, whether or not such transactions and/or activities were authorized by Customers.
Customers shall not provide their account information to the third parties and shall at all times be responsible and liable for any transactions or activities that occur on Customer account.
Customers shall immediately notify Indonesia Surya Sejahtera in the event of any unauthorized use of the account or when Customers become aware of such breach of security.
PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera may at any point and with immediate effect limit the Customers’ use of the Site and/or disable Customers account temporarily or permanently if Customers fail to fulfill Customer obligations in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and/or do violations to the law.
PRICE & TAX
Prices listed on this Site shall be treated as a reference NOT as an actual or the net price which includes Value Added Tax (VAT). Unless stated otherwise, the prices do not include shipping, handling, commissioning, tax and other costs that might apply to Products purchased. Price rate on this site is NOT obligatory, not a promise nor bonded by any means. Price rate on this site is approximation only for consideration. We only respect price point which has been stamped officially on the quoted documents.
Prices are in Indonesian Rupiah and subject to change without notice due to exchange rate fluctuation and/or changes of original manufacturer price. Metalextra is operated by PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera, which is registered as a tax exempted company that are recognized by Indonesian government (Non Pengusaha Kena Pajak – Non PKP). Article 4 paragraph (1) PMK 197/2013, the PKP threshold for small entrepreneurs means that MSME-class entrepreneurs. Non-Taxable Entrepreneurs (Non PKP) are business entities that have not been confirmed because these business entities have a turnover of less than IDR 4,800,000,000 (four billion eight hundred million rupiah). Therefore, Non-Taxable Entrepreneurs (Non PKP) are abolished from their obligation to pay Value Added Tax (VAT) or tax invoices. However, they are still required or required to pay Final Income Tax (Final Income Tax). Metalextra have no obligation nor the rights to collect taxes or to release tax slip to any buyers in Indonesia for tax return or related cashback benefits.
Customers who reside or operate in tax exemption areas in Indonesia are may or may not become subject to the VAT and Import Tax. For buyers based outside Batam city, by default, Tax and duties are collected by the couriers of your choosing. For buyers based in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and the rest of ASEAN countries may be exempted from import duties, however local tax or aditional costs charged by couriers may vary or exempted as the point of export will be from Indonesia.
Customers whom receive the quoted order or quotation forms are subject to the additional terms and condition as written and included on the given quote. Pricing dan rates on quoted form are subject to the mentioned terms, otherwise, may valid for maximum 3 (three) working days.
DELIVERY & SHIPMENT
Indonesia Surya Sejahtera will charge a shipping fee on each order according to the weight or volume of the goods, which is applied by the courier companies. The shipping cost will be reflected in the Customers invoice. Additional Value Added Tax, Shipment insurance and other fees are subject to other parties. We will never charge additional fees other than that implied in the final invoice.
Indonesia Surya Sejahtera will cover shipping fees for standard orders over Rp. 10.000.000,00 (or approximately ≥ S$ 1000) before tax and freight which applies for shipping point in Batam island-wide areas only. Purchase from e-commerce platform or marketplace such as Tokopedia, Shopee, Bukalapak or Lazada are subjected to the platform’s everchanging tariffs. Other terms and conditions may apply for other than standard orders, including but not limited to handling Products in Customer premises (i.e. unloading, relocation, etc.).
Indonesia Surya Sejahtera shall provide standard packaging in order to maintain product quality. While extra attention has been given to ensure a safe delivery, customers may ask additional or different packaging at their own costs.
The order will be delivered to the designated shipping point specified in the order. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera shall not be responsible for any delay or delivery failure due to an incorrect shipping address.
Customers cannot change the shipping address when the payment transaction has been carried out since the order has proceeded to the dispatching process.
The order will be dispatched during working days, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:30. In case Customers place an order on weekends or holidays, the order will be dispatched in the next working days.
PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera may outsource the delivery service to third parties. Title and risk of loss pass to Customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. If the product is damaged in transit, the Customer shall file any claim with the carrier and Indonesia Surya Sejahtera shall have no liability as a result of any damage occurring in transit.
INVOICE & PAYMENT
PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera accepts cash transfer, debit, Visa and MasterCard. Customer shall select a payment method from the options provided in the Site, and shall make the payment for the order accordingly. Upon receiving the order, a standard authorization check on the payment will be carried out.
The validity of the invoice, proforma invoice, and related quotations may refer to each document’s detail. Every official working day is considered a business day. Monday through Friday are business days, but holidays and weekends are not. **For example, orders placed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will ship no later than the following Monday.
Customers with established credit, PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera shall send the invoice to Customers with agreed terms of payment. All credit is extended solely at Indonesia Surya Sejahtera discretion and is subject to revocation at any time, for any reason.
APPLICATIONS & PRODUCT USAGE
Neither PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera or any of our partner companies in here nor its affiliates shall be held responsible for any damage, howsoever caused, to persons, machinery, tooling or ancillary equipment, whether as a direct or indirect result of the use of this website information. As the user of this website, it is you, our readers’s sole responsibility to check the suitability of recommended products for the operation, the accuracy of departure commands, cutting data values, part-program and CNC code, and any other output generated by this website.
SPECIFICATIONS, QUALITY & WARRANTY
The Products supplied shall be authentic, of good quality, new, and free of defects. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera warrants the Products against defect of materials and workmanship under normal use or intended use of material capacity. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera provides limited warranty and during the limited warranty period Indonesia Surya Sejahtera has the obligation to repair, replace or refund the amount paid by Customers, according to each category.
Return and refund shall refer to Returns and Refunds Policy which are governed by the classification of each product, as follows;

Customers or other parties, including competing companies inside and outside the jurisdiction of the Republic of Indonesia may store, print and display the content supplied solely for their own use. However, Customers and other parties which may include companies, brand holders, competitors are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any of the content provided on the Site. PT. Indonesia Surya Sejahtera is not liable for other neglect or failure in understanding this intellectual property right.
FORCE MAJEURE
Indonesia Surya Sejahtera shall not be liable for any delays in performance resulting in whole or in part from any force majeure event including but not limited to applicable policy or regulations or ruling issued by government of the Republic of Indonesia or other competent institution, or acts of God such as tsunami, earthquake, eruptive volcano, or other catastrophes, and/or labor disruptions, acts of war, acts of terrorism, riots, fires, hijack, revolutions, epidemic, or any other circumstance or cause beyond the reasonable control of Indonesia Surya Sejahtera in the conduct of its business.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Overseas customers are respected in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Trading and shipment to ASEAN countries have their own sets of rules and subject to change without notice.
Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts of Batam City District of Riau Island, Indonesia.
AMENDMENT
Indonesia Surya Sejahtera may at any time, in its sole discretion, amend this Terms from time to time. Customers shall review the Terms periodically. By continuously using this Site after any such amendments signify Customers’ acceptance thereof.
